Indeed. This tersely written little book should be required reading for all CCW classes. I find Cooper’s four stages of awareness particularly relevant.
An interesting aspect of Cooper’s philosophy is that he himself said that the Color were not about awareness but rather the mental positioning to take someone’s life in self defense. That distinction has been often misconstrued over the years.
